We have learned about "The Crazy Cycle" in therapy.
Basically it's a cycle of four steps where if none of the steps are stopped the fight won't stop either.
1. He misinterprets & feels disrespected
2. He gets angry & shuts off
3. I get needy and provoke him so he'll engage with me
4. It makes him angry
It is good to learn and try to do better.
